What should my child bring to training?
Players should bring a basketball (if required), water bottle, suitable comfortable sportswear and appropriate footwear, and a positive attitude :).
Are sessions or camps affected by weather?
All of our programs are indoors and proceed regardless of weather. If outdoor training is scheduled, we’ll notify participants of any changes.

We follow FIBA and Basketball Australia recommendations for ages 5-11 (size 5), ages 12-14 (size 6) and boys ages 15+ (size 7) basketballs.
What basketball hoop heights do you recommend?
Based on age and skill level, we generally work with an 8 foot ring for ages 5-8 and a 9 foot ring for ages 9-11. Generally by age 12, the 10 foot rings found in most outdoor courts by parks and playgrounds are appropriate for both girls and boys.
What is the youngest age for a player to join an after school program?
As basketball is a rules based game, our after school program equips children from ages 5 or 6 years of age to start developing motor patterns and dexterity required to engage rules based play at around ages 7-11. This means modified rules, modified basketball ring heights, appropriate basketball sizes, and emphasis on fun (and chaos!) and play.
